A Little Light Music
These pictures were taken from images projected on large LED screens beside the stage.
While the audience saw full-colour pictures, my camera recorded at a faster shutter-speed, scenes in which only a few lights defined the shape, expression and energy of the musicians.
The images here have not been manipulated except to enhance the presentation of the scenes that the camera captured.
I find it fascinating that our brains need so little information to synthesize a picture. Some are amazing studies of "negative space" while others have light patterns that communicate more about the moment than would a detailed photograph taken from real life.
