Sepilok Orangutan Rehab. Centre is near the city of Sandakan in Borneo. Surrounded by logged forest and palm plantations, this centre fed and treated wild orangutans on the edge of a 43 sq km forest reserve. Since my visit in 2014, it has expanded to offer more services to this endangered species.
