Art on the Water

One day, when the wave and light conditions were "just right", I aimed my telephoto lens at the moving waves approaching my dock. I was suprised to find complex oval patterns appearing in the images that I was oblivious to when I just looked at the water.
Once I was aware of them, I started to see them easily. But the most familiar patterns only occurred with special conditions of clouds and light.
To me, there is something familiar that reminds me of Canadian West Coast Native art.

Relax and let your eyes wander through the images. See if you don't pick out Ravens, Orcas, Turtles, and other shapes.
What spirits speak to YOU from under the water?
